By now you have received the following email apology from the board for the recent meeting snafu, but in case you didn’t read it -
“Hello everyone,
As many of you know, Monday night's meeting was cancelled due to a scheduling conflict with the Congregation Beth Israel (CBI). Monday was the second day of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, and CBI was closed. This had been stated in a contract that was signed long ago but the date conflict was, unfortunately, forgotten. We are so very sorry and apologize to everyone that this oversight inconvenienced.
Thankfully, the meeting's speaker, Brijette Peña of San Diego Seed Company, was very gracious and has agreed to instead speak to our group on Monday, December 9, 2019. In December, she will also come with seeds for purchase, so you pick some up for your own garden and holiday gifts.
You can mark your calendars with confidence! There will be a December meeting this year, and it will take place on Monday, December 9.
If we don't see you at our November 11 meeting, then we hope to see you in December! Once again, please accept our sincere apologies for the mistake.
