Rick Bjorklund and Kevin are hosting their free annual succulent and cacti garden party on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Aloes should be in full bloom, mesembs should be continuing the show they began in December, and a number of crassulas and echeverias should be blooming. The plants in their raised beds have continued to mature. Newly added haworthias, cauduciform plants and a new Sansevieria raised bed will add to the show.
Rick and Kevin have attempted to use their space as fully as possible. Most plants are labeled in case you want to purchase them from nurseries and add them to your garden.They hope the party is an opportunity for homeowners considering a water wise landscape to envision how to add succulents to their property.
There will be goodies to eat, beverages, and a few plants, pots, rocks, and garden related items for sale (cash only, please). Whether you have attended before or this might be your first visit, they hope you will drop by to see and chat about succulents and cacti, and make some new friends!
