Garden admirers don’t miss this rare opportunity to join PHS in South Florida on January 12-17, 2019.
Our tour includes several famous gardens, including private properties never open to the public. Raymond Jungles, renowned landscape architect and designer of the Naples’ Botanical Garden, will personally lead us on a tour of the Garden and share how South American landscape designer Roberto Burle Marx has influenced his work.
The Brazilian Garden at the Naples’ Botanical Garden is dedicated to Roberto Burle Marx. Raymond will also accompany our group as we visit an exclusive private garden in Naples that appears in his book, Colors of Nature.
Other highlights of our itinerary include Kampong, a botanical garden that was once the private estate of Dr. David Fairchild, an influential horticulturist and plant collector, Montgomery Botanical Center, and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, lush educational gardens committed to the conservation of tropical plants. We’ll also take in the exquisite beauty of a 20-acre estate in Redlands known at Patch of Heaven and tour the beautiful nursery and production facility at R.F. Orchids.
Amelia B. Lima, San Diego landscape designer, will escort this tour. For a complete itinerary and booking information visit pachort.org/Florida and click the info/register button.
