Our new member orientation was held in November in the garden of renowned ceramic artist Laird Plumleigh. The most recent members to join our society were introduced to the SDHS board members and afterward toured the garden and ceramic studio overflowing with Laird's architectural ceramics, pottery, and decorative tiles.
We skip our regular monthly meeting in December so that everyone can focus on family, friends, and end of year holiday celebrations. Please plan on joining us for our regular monthly meeting January 14th, 2019 at 6PM for Jeff Chemnick's "armchair tour of Mexico's greatest hits," Treasures of the Sierra Madres: Botanical Ecotouring in Mexico.
