On March 18th, forty SDHS members traveled to Los Angeles to visit the beautiful Gottlieb Garden. The Garden, located on a hillside above the Beverly Hills Hotel, has more than 100 species of native plants and, according to one of the SDHS tour participants, more hummingbirds than she had ever seen in her life. There are toyon, matilija poppies, butterfly-attracting natives, and gorgeous views of the surrounding hillsides. You can get a glimpse of the garden and our tour goers in the photos below.
