It’s March planting madness at the San Diego Botanic Garden's Spring Planting Jubilee & Tomato Sale! Mark your calendars for March 17 & 18, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
This event is a plant lover’s dream with a wide variety of herbs, spring plants, orchids, bromeliads, and garden art and implements available for sale. In addition, you'll find the new locally-sourced Summer Garden Vegetable Extravaganza offered by local grower, Diane’s Herbs. The sale will feature a wide variety of tomatoes, vegetables, seeds, cut flowers, and annuals.
Garden experts will be on hand to answer questions and provide helpful advice on spring plantings and caring for your entire garden.
Two for the Road food truck will be offering burgers, lobster rolls, hot dogs and mac and cheese. Other lunch items, coffee, and delicious treats will be available from the Feel Good Coffee Cart.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Bob Ballentine and friends, and educational workshops will be offered throughout the weekend. Don’t miss our KidZone, which will include special educational displays, crafts, and activities as well as a petting zoo and pony rides.
