FROM THE EDITOR: Plants Wanted

Indian Clock Vine

By Susan Starr.

At each monthly meeting, members bring in plants, cuttings, or flowers and put them in the blue bottles provided on our display tables. It’s a great way to find new plants and a fun way to meet your fellow SDHS members.

EVERYONE is invited to participate and all plants are welcome. We enjoy seeing what’s thriving or blooming in everyone’s gardens and learning more about plants that we may or may not be familiar with.

Along with your plant, please bring the name of the plant (common and Latin names if you know them) and a little information about how it grows in your garden. You can bring that on a piece of paper or fill out one of the cards at the table.

Each month, we choose one of the plants from the table as our featured Plant of the Month in the newsletter.

Plan to bring a plant to our next meeting and join the fun!
